Gratitude turns what we have into enough.
It makes us humble.
It makes us happy.

I fee that gratitude is such a powerful practice that I would like to share with you why that exactly is the case and how gratitude can improve the level of happiness in your life.

  1. Gratitude allows for no regrets.
    It takes a life lesson and says thank you that I was able to learn that. It turns a potential negative experience into a positive by looking at it as something that’s going to help you to be better int he future.
  2. Gratitude allows for true forgiveness.
    Again, gratitude tends to see the positive in something that’s happened. And it’ll help you to understand that we’re all human and make mistakes. You do, too! We still deserve forgiveness, because one wrong should not destroy all the rights one person has done. So let compassion and gratitude guide you to forgiveness.
  3. Gratitude brings you peace.
    It grounds you in the present. I don’t think there’s a more powerful practice for really being in the moment. It brings you peace in where you are and helps you remain a positive vision for your tomorrow.
  4. Gratitude means that you never need more than you have at any given moment.
    There’s always something to be grateful for. Even during the darkest times you will always find a ray of light.
  5. Gratitude means that good days will give you happiness and bad days give you wisdom.
    Both are essential in order for you to learn and grow. So try to see the bad days as opportunities for wisdom.
  6. Gratitude gives the people in our lives a chance to teach you something important
    There are some lessons in life that we would never have learned unless for that one person that came into our lives. Being grateful for every person you get in touch with helps you to be open to whatever it is that they might be able to teach you.
  7. Gratitude lets you embrace the changes that life is all about.
    Change isn’t easy for everyone. However, if you learn to embrace it, it’ll give you new things, people and situations to be grateful for.
  8. Gratitude never lets you take anything for granted.
    Instead, you learn to be grateful for everything coming your way, help you adjust your attitude and make you an overall happier person.
  9. Gratitude is not just about saying thank you, but about living by those words every day.
    Your actions speak louder than your words.
  10. Gratitude includes giving back.
    Studies have shown that giving back does not only make you even more grateful for what you currently have, but it will make you overall happier, as it’s such a wonderful feeling to give back. 
  11. Gratitude means being grateful for the time you have.
    Just because something didn’t last forever, doesn’t mean it wasn’t the greatest gift imaginable.
  12. Gratitude means your always fully present in the moment.
    This helps you to feel completely alive.
  13. Gratitude helps us to let go and understand that we’d be missing out if we tried to control every situation.
    It helps getting rid of needless expectations and supports us in leaving our comfort zones.
  14. Gratitude makes us open to those unexpected surprises and opportunities that life throws at as.
    Those moments that you never anticipated, which will be the greatest joy.
  15. Gratitude will bring more things into your life to be grateful for.
    Practice gratitude every day and witness the changes. You will see so many more things to be grateful for in your life.
  16. Gratitude will always bring you happiness.
