Do you know that feeling?
Everything is changing.

You’ve always had your dreams, things you thought were what you truly wanted.
Yet they’re changing as well.
Nothing is as it was, not even you, and the future seems uncertain and that feeling of being lost and drowning doesn’t agree with you at all. It makes you moody, sad, you cry way too often and prefer staying in bed, buried in a captivating book or binge watching a thrilling series so you don’t have to think about what’s happening. It allows you to forget about the fact that you don’t have anything under control at them moment. Yet, we forget that those phases also offer opportunity for growth and new, wonderful things entering our lives!

So let’s talk about what change could look like in your life at the moment and how it actually moves you forward on your personal happiness journey.

Change is not holding you back. Only your fear of change.

Change, of any type is scary for so many of us. When something changes it challenges our ideas and feelings of safety and security. Change might involve risk, failure, or heartbreak. And we usually have such a fear of the unknown, we’ll do anything to prevent it. That might mean staying in an unhealthy relationship or job that drains your energy. Not taking a risk towards your dreams, not leaping towards goals due to the potential of failure will only keep you stuck in your unhappy life.
Do you want to stay stuck and let life pass you by?

Change doesn’t just happen outside of us, but as we evolve and grow – sometimes even without us realizing it – we change as well!

We’re all born beautiful, unusual, and wild, but it takes time to refine and for those facets to take on a a new shape. That’s an ongoing process and even if you’re not aware of it, we are all constantly and forever evolving: adopting new interests, affectations, phrases, ways of moving, new perspectives, friendships, love.
If you’re not growing and changing and trying new things, what’s the point?

Change is inevitable, and even though the way it happens isn’t always pretty, it propels us forward, on to something better. Personal transformation makes our life brighter, bigger, bolder, and lovelier, so don’t be afraid of change. Don’t be nervous about loving yourself or admitting that you want something better.

After all, life is not about finding yourself; it’s about creating yourself. And as you go through this process on your personal happiness journey, there is a certain amount of borrowing, trying out, adopting and discarding that occurs.

Be You. Revel in what makes you different and follow your own path of happiness.

Learn to lean into the darkness of who you are. Those black holes and grey spaces you have within yourself are rich in self-awareness and personal insights that teach you a lot about your own happiness. The balancing of your shadow and your uniquely beautiful light to create a beautiful whole means to lead an authentic and happy life.

Don’t be afraid to change. You may lose something good but you may gain something better.

I’ll always be a beautiful work in progress and so will you. Change will be your constant in life as much as it has become mine. There will always be a time when things have to fall apart so you can rebuild yourself and your life according to your new values, ethics and core beliefs. You want to make sure that they will stand the test of time and can serve as a solid grounding upon which you can build and construct your life. A life let in alignment with core beliefs means a happy life. And a happy life is a fulfilled life.

Own your dreams and always know that you’re more than enough. Don’t let your inner mean girl or guy put you down! Don’t be afraid to replace what’s not solid with something else, no matter if that’s a core belief or a person. You are allowed to let go of things and people that no longer serve the vision of your life. You decide on your life’s building blocks that make up your happiness. And don’t hesitate to change those core beliefs, people or dreams along the way if they don’t serve you or the vision you have for yourself and your life anymore!

Happy Changing!
